Safe Installation and Dismantling of Scaffolding

The training course on the safe installation and dismantling of scaffolding is designed to provide personnel with both theoretical and practical knowledge regarding various types of scaffolding structures, their safe utilization, and risk management during work at height.

General Information:

• Duration: 1, 2, or 3-day programs are offered based on requirements.

• Group Size: 6–10 participants.

• Languages: Azerbaijani / Russian / English.

Certification and Accreditation:

Participants who successfully complete the training are awarded a specialized certificate valid for 2 years.

• Certificate Format: This certificate is issued within the framework of a joint cooperation between the Scientific-Research Institute of the State Agency for Safe Working in Industry and Mountain-Mining Control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Industrial Support and Training Services (IST) Additional Education Center. The document fully complies with the current regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan and international standards.

Target Group and Objectives:

This course is intended for personnel working on various types of scaffolding systems, as well as those responsible for their assembly and disassembly. The training is conducted through lectures, practical demonstrations, and group discussions.

• Types of Scaffolding: Various configurations and construction requirements.

• Legislation: Local regulations and industry best practices.

• Inspection and Maintenance: Criteria for verifying the integrity of scaffolding.

• Basics of Working at Height: Safe movement and fall protection.

• Protection Against Falling Objects: Implementation of safety features.

• Load Capacity and Tagging System: Scaffolding load-bearing capabilities and the installation of inspection tags (Scafftag).

• Housekeeping: Importance of order and cleanliness at the workplace.
