Course Objective:

The primary objective of this course is to provide participants with comprehensive theoretical training on environmental protection regulations, the detection of gas leaks and emissions in industrial environments, and the implementation of appropriate control measures.

Course Syllabus:

  • Regulatory and Organizational Requirements: Legal regulations on environmental protection and industrial safety.

  • Principles and Practice of Hot Works: Environmental and safety management of activities generating sparks and heat.

  • Mechanisms of Flammable Gas Generation: Sources and causes of hazardous gas formation.

  • Sampling and Testing Requirements: Methodology for air composition testing and monitoring.

  • Theory and Practice of Gas Detectors: Operating principles and instructions for using gas measurement devices.

  • Positioning of Sentinel Monitors: Correct placement of monitoring equipment to achieve optimal efficiency.

  • Analysis and Documentation of Results: Interpreting and recording measurement data, and preparing official reports.

Assessment:

At the end of the course, participants' knowledge is evaluated via an examination. To qualify for a 2-year certificate complying with local and international standards, participants must achieve a minimum score of 75%.
