HSE
Occupational health encompasses a set of fundamental measures addressing all aspects of workers' health in the workplace, with a primary focus on eliminating health hazards. Health is defined as the absence of disease and similar conditions. For example, exposure to asbestos dust poses a risk of cancer, thereby endangering your health.
Labor safety refers to a system of socio-economic, organizational, technical, sanitary-hygienic, and medical-preventive measures and tools. These operate based on relevant legislative and normative acts to ensure human safety and health during labor activities, thereby safeguarding work ability (as outlined in the Law on Labor Protection of the Azerbaijan Republic). In essence, safety means the absence of serious personal injury risks. For example, standing under a load (in the line of fire) during a lifting operation can result in serious injury or death.Environmental protection involves maintaining and preventing the initial quantitative and qualitative changes in the natural material assets present in the environment (as stated in the Law on Environmental Protection of the Azerbaijan Republic). Essentially, it is the prevention of pollution to the environment—air, water, soil, flora, and fauna—during labor activities, work processes, and similar undertakings.
